"Knote" products of Sunia Pte. Ltd The software respects and protects
the privacy of all users of the service. The software will treat personal
information and data with a high degree of diligence and prudence. The software
will update this Privacy policy from time to time. By agreeing to this Software
Service Usage Agreement, you are deemed to have agreed to all contents of this
Privacy Policy. This Privacy policy is an integral part of the Software Service
Usage Agreement.

interests of personal information in bold form, please pay special attention.

When you use Knote, we collect
the following types of information:
- User Data (Notes Content):
- What it is: The
text, images, and any other content you create, store, or upload within
your notes in the Knote application. This includes the content of your
notes themselves, titles, tags, and any organizational structure you
apply.
- How it's collected: Directly provided by you when you create, edit, or save
notes within the App.
- Why we collect it: To enable the core functionality of Knote, which is to
allow you to create, store, and manage your personal notes.
- Account Information:
If you
choose to register or log in using your email address, Google account, or
Microsoft account, we may collect basic profile information such as:
- Name or display name
- Email address
- Account ID provided by Google or Microsoft
- This information is used solely for
authentication and account management purposes.
- We do not access your password or any
unrelated data from your Google or Microsoft accounts.
- Authentication services are provided through
secure OAuth 2.0 authorization.
- Usage Statistics:
- What it is: Anonymous
and aggregated information about how you interact with the App. This may
include:
- App launch and session duration.
- Features used within the App (e.g.,
"create new note,"
"search," "share").
- Non-identifying technical information about
your device (e.g., operating system version, device model, app version).
- Crashes and error reports.
- How it's collected: Automatically through the App and via third-party
analytics services (specifically Google Analytics, as detailed below).
- Why we collect it: To understand how users interact with Knote, identify
areas for improvement, fix bugs, optimize performance, and enhance the
user experience. This data is generally aggregated and anonymized and
does not directly identify you.

We use the information

- To Provide and Maintain Knote: To deliver the core functionality of the App, allowing
you to create, store, and manage your notes effectively.
- Enable secure login and user account
management.
- To Improve Knote: To understand usage patterns, identify popular features,
and make informed decisions about future updates and enhancements.
- To Ensure Security and Stability: To monitor and prevent technical issues, fix bugs, and
ensure the App operates reliably.
- For Internal Analytics: To analyze trends, track the effectiveness of features,
and inform our development strategy.
- To Comply with Legal Obligations: To meet any applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
We will never sell your
personal information or your notes content to third parties.

Information
We share your information only

permission to do so. For example, if you choose to use an in-app sharing
feature to send a note to another person or service.

We use Google Analytics to
collect anonymous usage statistics and Google / Microsoft APIs for
authentication.

If you delete your account or
uninstall the app, your account-related data will be removed from our active

within the Knote App at any time.

can delete your notes content directly within the Knote App. Once deleted,
this content is permanently removed from the App and our systems (subject
to backup retention periods, which are typically short-term and for
disaster recovery purposes only).
- Opt-Out of Usage Statistics:
- While Knote does not offer an in-app toggle
for Google Analytics, you can generally manage your privacy settings on
your device to limit ad tracking or prevent certain data collection.
- For broader control over Google Analytics,
you can explore Google's opt-out options available for web browsers and
some mobile apps.
- Data Portability: You can export your notes content from the Knote App (if
an export feature is available) to take your data with you.
- Withdraw Consent: Where we rely on your consent to process your personal
data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.
To exercise any of these
rights, please use the functionalities provided within the App or contact us
directly using the information below.
8. Children's Privacy
Knote is not intended for use
by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally
identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or
guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal
information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected
personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental
consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
9. Changes to This Privacy
Policy
We may update our Privacy
Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new
Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at
the top of this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy
periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the App after any
modifications to this Privacy Policy will constitute your acknowledgment of the
modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy
